If you’re ready to adopt a Miss Dixie’s kitten, here’s your chance to see if you could be their match.
Casper
Just when you think chivalry is dead you get to meet Casper. He is a true gentlemen, from the careful way he eats his churu treats to the constant eye contact he maintains. When he wants to get your attention he will either let out a distinctive (and distinguished) meow.
Casper is very friendly and playful and would do best in a home that will give him plenty of love, affection, and playtime. He loves playing with both other cats and his humans. He likes to bump his head and then roll over for pets.
This elegant gent is always purring and happy to see you. Casper loves attention and affection. He doesn’t mind being picked up and held, but he prefers to come lay right beside you and rub his head on you and roll around. He will sit in your lap and cuddle for a bit but he just wants to be near you like a little friendly ghost!
Ottie
Ottie is a friendly and happy-go-lucky kinda gal. She was rescued from an outdoor colony because indoor life is what this girl was meant to have. Ottie is a polydactyl, which means she has extra toes or "thumbs" on her front paws. She uses her little hands to chase her toys around the house or lightly tap you when she wants your attention.
She has a unique little raspy meow, which she uses to chat with you and tell you about her day or request a snack. She is good with other kitties and would be a great fit in a home with other pets and kids. Most of all, she just wants a place where she can be a loyal little companion to humans who love her.
Spleen
Spleen may be a tortie, but she is severely lacking in the stereotypical sass and attitude. She was rescued from an outdoor cat colony where she would patiently await food on her caretaker's porch rain or shine. Now, she is just so happy to be comfortable and safe inside.
Spleen is about a year and a half old and is very well-behaved. Her favorite activities are birdwatching and napping on the cat tree or in her cardboard castle. She is calm, laid-back, and very friendly. She would love a household where she can continue to be loved and treasured. She is great with other kitties and can be adopted with her daughter (who is almost her identical twin) or into a home with other friendly kitties.
Milli
Milli is a social girlie who LOVES her humans and is a becoming a more and more confident kitty by the day. She will be your shadow and likes to follow you from room to room managing to stay right by your feet! She is happy to be picked up if you need to move freely!
She could be adopted with her brother, Vanilli or into a home that has another playful kitty friend! Milli loves playing and her favorite toys are mice and pom poms to chase around the room. She is super friendly and gets on with everyone.
Vanilli
Vanilli is a stunning boy with a coat that looks like melted chocolate and a personality as sweet as his name suggests. This gentleman can be little shy at first. However, he warms up quickly and as soon as he gets comfortable, he absolutely loves to play and will blossom in his forever home.
Vanilli’s favorite pastime is sitting by the window and watching the world go by outside, so if you need a new member of the neighborhood watch then he is your guy!
Vanilli is very close with his sister Milli and they would be a great pair! He could also be a good match for a home with another confident feline friend, playful and loving kids, and a family who is willing to let him open up and let his true personality shine.
Ulna
Ulna may have had a rough beginning, but our girl has overcome her traumatic past and didn't let it put a damper on her sweet and shining personality. Ulna was rescued after being spotted limping outside with her entire front leg bone completely exposed. We aren't sure what happened to her, maybe an attack by an other animal, being caught in a trap, or being hit by a car. Thankfully, this is not where Ulna's story ended.
Ulna had the remainder of her bone amputated and now she feels unstoppable. She hops around as fast as any cat in town and loves to show off her hunting skills by capturing and carrying away the wand toys that she catches. But most of all, Ulna enjoys spending lazy days napping on the couch or literally cuddling with her arms around your face. She enjoys having her belly rubbed (it's actually not a trap when she rolls over to give you access!)
She is a little nervous around loud noises, but is good with large dogs and other cats! As longs as she has a home that is respectful and understanding of her needs, Ulna would be a great fit for your family!
Zuko
"Hello! Zuko Here."
As his name might suggest, he is a sweetheart who loves to be loved. Zuko especially likes being held on his back like a baby. He is super friendly and confident.
Our version of Zuko has a hazy eye (It’s NOT on the wrong side) but it doesn’t affect his vision. He loves playing with string toys and gets very annoyed when he pushes his toys underneath doors and then can’t reach them!
His forever home can be with Toph but he is also good with children, cats and calm dogs.
Toph
Buckle up, Twinkle Toes, this kitten is ready for her forever home. She might have no eyes but that doesn’t stop her.
She is incredible at climbing and sometimes goes higher up than she realizes and needs a hand back down to earth. Toph is a softie who loves to snuggle down in your lap for cuddles, she will start purring as soon as she hears your voice.
Toph loves playing with toys that make a noise, crinkly balls and bells. She is super food motivated and adores churu treats. She needs her litter tray scooping regularly because she can’t see where her paws step. If you think friendships can last more than one lifetime then this little gal is the one for you.
Toph would love to have her own life changing field trip (forever home) with Zuko but they are also fine to go to different homes. She loves other cats and people and would do well in a home with children too.
Nobi
Abandoned, scared, and alone, Not Benji (Nobi) was left to fend for himself when his previous owners moved away. Once a house cat, he had to learn how to survive on the streets—scrapping for food and embracing his newfound feral instincts.
But fate had other plans. One day, he stumbled upon a kind-hearted human who offered him food, warmth, and a strange new name: Not Benji. Confused but intrigued, he stayed. Over time, he and his human formed a bond—sharing meals, deep conversations (mostly one-sided), and many, many misunderstood gifts (apparently, half a squirrel is not a delicacy in human culture).
For years, he ruled his little outdoor kingdom, fending off raccoons and keeping opossums in check. But as winter approached, his human made a bold move—she catnapped him. Suddenly, he was an inside boy again. The ground was soft, the food was endless, and for the first time in a long time, he didn’t have to fight to survive.
And so, on the day his life changed forever, Not Benji did something he had never done before—he climbed onto his human’s lap, settled in for a nap, and thought, I have no more questions. I can finally be at peace.
Now, Not Benji is ready for the next chapter of his journey: finding his forever home. This big, chatty gentleman is looking for a warm lap, good conversation, and someone who might finally appreciate his unique gifting skills (or at least pretend to).
Could you be the one to give Not Benji his happily ever after?
Azalea
Azalea is a one-of-a-kind kitty who is hoping to be signed for her own chat show before 2025. She is a super talkative little girl and will hold entire conversations with you so there will never be a dull moment in the conversation, she won’t leave you hanging and will always be able to keep the mood in check. Guests on her show will have to bring either spinny balls or wet food to thank her for being the perfect host.
Azy is super chilled out and loves people, she wants to have the attention of everyone she meets and is a grade A people pleaser. Strangers are simply people who haven’t met Azalea yet. She makes friends with everyone!
Her forever home will be one without any young children and lots of love from her devoted human servant/bestie. She doesn’t get on with other cats and will need to be the only cat in her home. If you have room in your life for a sweet and chatty single girl then Azalea is the one for you.
Mayhem
Not that we would ever suggest there had been a mistake…but there has been a mistake.
Mayhem heard her name and did a 180 on her behavior. As a smol girl she used to scream at the top of her lungs until someone paid attention to her. This inevitably caused a lot of chaos in house, which earned her the name.
However, as she has gotten older, sweet little May May has really shown to be a very sweet, gentle and shy little gal. The only time you will see the old Mayhem is when she is running up and down the stairs as fast as she can. She is as sweet as a May blossom and when she is feeling safe she will cautiously approach your lap and settle in for a nap.
She is really a gentle soul who needs the right family to go at her pace. Mayhem is bonded to her foster sister, Missy, and so we are looking for a home open to adopting both girls. May would prefer a home without children or dogs as both are a little too scary for our gal.

Miscellaneous (Missy)
Miscellaneous (adj.) mi-sə-ˈlā-nē-əs
1. Consisting of diverse things or members
2. Having various traits
3. A kitty looking for her forever home with her sister May
Imagine coming home after a long day. You open the door and immediately hear little kitty cries as Miscellaneous runs directly towards you. She wants to be talked to, loved and petted as she missed you all day. With a Missy in your life, you will never be alone.
Missy has been extra small ever since she was born which made the world quite overwhelming but now that she is (a little) bigger, she is a confident girlie!
On top of her affectionate and talkative traits, Missy is extremely playful, outgoing and curious. In particular, she loves to run around with her sister, Mayhem. They are quite the dynamic duo and should be adopted together.
Missy and Mayhem would do best in a home without dogs or small children. They would love another kitty sibling, but it's most important that they have each other and you!
Chester
Look at this boy. Does he look like a cat that would thrive outside? Absolutely not.
Meet Chester! Born into a feral colony, but destined for greater things. Chester was merely a kitten when he came into the rescue. A little unsure about this new world, he took a little time to adjust to the new smells, new toys (what are those???) and the plentiful food he never had to fight over.
Once he knew he was safe, he began to blossom.
Chester is a friend to all. He is carefully, joyful and permanent kitten at heart. Whether he's cuddling up with. his foster sister, Beetle (or his foster mom), playing the ultimate game of tag with anyone who will play or screaming for attention (aka baby time), your life will never be dull with Chester. His absolute favorite thing in the entire world is to be held in your arms and smothered in kisses, and he will thank you every time with the most wonderful purrs.
Chester must go to a home with another cat. He adores all cats and wants to be someone's BFF. If you're looking for a pair, Beetle is his favorite foster sister and they are regularly found cuddled together throughout the house.
Chester would prefer a home with no dogs (or a really chill dog). Kids are okay so long as his new parents teach them how to be respectful to his boundaries.
Chester has so much love to give and we can't wait for him to find the forever he truly deserves.
Dewey
Dewey is a little bit shy at first but when he comes out of his shell he is very affectionate. Perhaps a little too much as he will cuddle your face while you are sleeping!
He loves his humans as well as other cats and even dogs – most things in fact apart from the dreaded vacuum cleaner. If you are looking for an excuse not to have to do the vacuuming Dewey will absolutely support you in this.
He loves playing with spring toys and churu are his absolute favorite treat. Dewey is looking for a quiet forever home to help him gain confidence and they will be rewarded with the best night-time snuggles.
